7-seater and electric, here is the clever C3 Aircross

Citroën has unveiled its new C3 Aircross, which takes on the identity of the C3 sedan. A model that is set to make waves.

The small ë-C3, 100% electric, was actually just the first stone in a vast C3 range that sees the arrival of a new model with more than interesting features. C3 Aircross maintains its look as a small adventurer but adopts a more assertive character. On the menu, more space on board with up to 7 seats, and an expanded range of engines. The Dacia Jogger has a formidable competitor!

The new model now measures 4.39 m in length with a long wheelbase that allows for more legroom for rear passengers. Another feature made possible by the size of the C3 Aircross is a third row of seats! This is a major innovation, allowing for up to 7 people on board thanks to two foldable seats in the trunk. 

The very vertical front end features the new Citroën logo and adopts a characteristic lighting signature in 3 light segments. There is some Jeep in this face, and we do not mind at all. The C3 Aircross retains the SUV typology of its predecessor with a high, horizontal hood, widened fenders and tracks, and solid shoulders benefiting from protection that cover large wheels. The increased ground clearance helps tackle everyday obstacles and offers a high driving position that is quite pleasant in the city.

The C3 Aircross offers a traditional thermal option and a hybrid version that facilitates access to electrification and whose versatility is perfectly suited for this type of silhouette. But the blue e on the fenders surely hasn’t escaped your notice and confirms that the model will also be available in 100% electric produced in Europe. With the price remaining well below the €47,000 mark, it will logically be eligible for the Eco Bonus. That’s a plus, and now we look forward to summer 2024 to learn more.
